Hymns

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the God the Father through Him." Colossians 3:16-17

Studying hymns is something I really love to do. There are so many treasures found in them. Unlike most (not all) of the contemporary hymns today, many hymns are so rich in true theology. I love it when I find a hymn that is rarely ever sung anymore but is such a rare gem. Here is a list of some of my favorites (in no particular order):
